Originals

An Original is a dome. It seats over the corner of the phone, wrapping the radius where the front glass, the band and the rear glass meet, and it stands slightly proud of both faces. Seen from the back it reads as four dots on an otherwise untouched phone — which is, not by accident, the same arrangement as the four dots in the Corners4 logo.

There is no motif and no texture. The only things doing any work are the profile and the finish, which is a demanding way to design something: with no ornament to hide behind, the surface has to be right. Each piece is machined individually from aircraft-grade aluminium rather than cast, then hard-anodised in a colourised protective finish that goes into the metal rather than sitting on top of it.

The inside is where the device-specific work happens. The internal geometry is cut to cradle one particular iPhone corner, which is why Originals are sold per device and why a set for an iPhone 11 will not sit correctly on an iPhone 15. Rounded-rail phones and flat-rail phones are genuinely different shapes at the corner.

Finish is the entire expressive range of this line, so the four are deliberately spread across the tonal map rather than clustered.

Carbon

The matte one. Dense, low-reflectance, and the closest thing to invisible in the range — on a black or graphite phone it reads as shadow rather than as hardware. Choose Carbon if you want the protection and would rather nobody noticed the corners at all.

Bright Silver

The opposite end. Polished to a hard specular that catches a light source and throws it back, so the corners read as jewellery. It sits closest to the polished stainless band of the 14 Pro generation and contrasts deliberately against the brushed titanium of the 15 and 16 Pro.

Gold

Warm, polished-satin, and the finish that changes a phone's temperature the most. Against a black body it is the strongest statement in the Originals line; against a white or cream body it is surprisingly quiet.

Titanium

The quietest of the metallics. A neutral mid-grey that neither matches nor fights a factory colourway — closest in tone to the natural titanium band of the 15 and 16 Pro, which makes it the one finish that reads as part of the phone rather than as something added to it. Choose Titanium when you want the corners to be present but not noticed.

Because the corners stand proud of the glass, a phone wearing a set never lies flat on its screen or its back. Set it down face-up on a desk and it rests on four points of anodised aluminium; face-down, the same. On a table this is the difference between a rear glass that stays clean and one that accumulates the fine scratching that comes from being put down a few thousand times.

Stood on its long edge, the corner profile holds the phone at an angle, so it becomes a stand for video with nothing to unfold and nothing to break.

Every set ships with four corners and two complete sets of 3M adhesive strips. The second set exists so that a set is not disposable: if a corner is misaligned on the first attempt, or you move to a new phone of the same model, you re-apply rather than re-buy.
